Chidos Mexican Grill is the culmination of years and years of dreaming for two Aussies wanting to bring fresh, quality, affordable Mexican to life in Australia. Founder Craig, an executive chef with more than 20 years of domestic and international experience, is the inspiration behind the amazing menu flavours. His love and inspiration for the cuisine came from working at the private and exclusive Hacienda de San Antonio in Colima, Mexico. The Hacienda was located on the slopes of an active volcano and all the produce used within the resort came from its organic crops and free range animals. Now we are excited for positive future ahead with our Mexican restaurants in Brisbane.

Quite simply, it is the food. Chidos is passionate about sourcing and using fresh produce and restaurant quality ingredients in our Mexican restaurants in Brisbane. All of the food is made fresh at the restaurant with fresh produce arriving daily from the Rocklea markets.
Our casual restaurant style encompasses a fresh new feel for a Mexican establishment in Brisbane. We wanted to steer away from your typical cliche Mexican restaurant avoiding the typical “Day Of The Dead” back streets of Tijuana with diesel 44 gallon drums and the token Cactus mural or Sombrero hanging on the wall. This isn’t Chidos. Chidos is fresh, cool, relaxed – a casual experience for all customers with inspiration coming from the beach and ocean... a place where you'd rather be!
Chidos Mexican Grill has a breezy, casual outdoor seating area as well as offering takeaway. We are licensed and open 7 days for lunch and dinner.
